Orders are Checked for Compliance at the Point-of-Transaction
Real time integration between the REthink Engine’s order management system and REthink Compliance™ means that orders are checked for compliance with various state regulations at the time of purchase. Each order is checked against all relevant rules to determine whether or not it can be shipped, thereby reducing the risk of compliance violations and the associated penalties.
- Compliance checks performed at the point-of-purchase via integration with our eCommerce platform, the REthink Engine™, eliminate the risk of compliance mistakes or violations.
- Powerful compliance check engine determines whether an order passes or fails based on permits held, volume restrictions and other relevant criteria.
- Know with certainty which orders passed or did not pass the compliance check. Non-compliant orders are segregated and flagged for attention, providing an opportunity to offer superior service by working with the customer to “save the order”.
- Transaction workflow is interrupted prior to processing to prevent settlement of credit card charges for non-compliant orders. This eliminates the need for refunds in the event of a failed compliance check and ensures a legal order flow.
- Upon shipment, orders are updated with tracking information for complete and accurate reporting of direct shipments.
- Barring action by winery personnel, pending orders are processed automatically when they meet relevant direct ship requirements.
